iPhone - Mac Bluetooth Pairing

Very interesting.  I can pair my iPhone running the new 1.1.4 firmware with my Mac over Bluetooth, but it can’t find any services.  I don’t think this worked with earlier firmware.  I also tried iSync and BluePhoneElite and they threw the same message.  I really hope this means that wireless sync is coming soon.  Tethering would be nice too.

Has anyone else discovered any new Bluetooth secrets

My iphone (also 1.1.4) does not detect other phones (iphones or not) or computers using bluetooth. Ohter phones (2 Nokias and a Treo) do detect the iphone, the nokias fail when attempting any kind of transfer/pair. The treo hangs on any of these operations !

The iphone, as i said, does not detect ohter computers but both my desktop and notebook (dell 1710) detect and pair with the iphone. The computers correctly see the iphone as a smartphone, and the only service they see the iphone publishing is the Sync service. Connecting to this service does nothing. iTunes does not detect a connection to the iphone and syncing is impossible.
